Section 1: Back on the Fairway — Better Late Than Never!

How a Friend’s Fundraiser Reminded Me Why I Love This Game

I’ll be honest — golf and I have had an on-again, off-again relationship for a few years now. But lately? We’re officially back on. 😄

For the past several years, our brokerage has been proudly involved in a dear friend’s annual golf fundraiser. Showing up each year and doing my best not to completely embarrass myself out there has kept me loosely connected to the game — but something clicked recently. I remembered that I actually really enjoy this! There’s something about being back on the course with purpose and a renewed commitment that makes it feel fresh again.

So consider this my official declaration: I’m back, I’m committed, and I’m finally going to “get it.” Stay tuned for updates — and if you ever want to play a round, you know where to find me! 🏌️

🏡 Section 2: Fighting for Our Client — And Winning

How We Protected a First-Time Buyer When Things Got Complicated

Real estate transactions don’t always go smoothly — and this one is a perfect example of why having the right advocate in your corner matters.

We recently worked with a first-time buyer here in Boca Raton who was under contract on a condo. Through a series of missteps by the escrow agent — who also happened to be serving as both the seller’s attorney AND the title attorney — our client never received proper wiring instructions in a timely manner. By the time that was sorted out, we had already completed inspections and identified real issues with the property.

Rather than working constructively through those issues, the escrow agent shifted focus to threatening our client with breach of contract for the delayed escrow funds. It was an uncomfortable situation — but we never flinched. Our brokerage stood firm, protected our client’s rights every step of the way, and made sure she knew we had her back no matter what.

In the end, the title and seller’s attorney yielded. The contract was properly cancelled and released. And our client? She found a beautiful unit that suits her so much better than the original.

She’s moving in this week — and she was kind enough to leave us a heartfelt 5-star review. That’s what it’s all about. 🌟

Section 3: Purple Pride — Scanlon Realty Group Renews with SABR Soccer!

Nearly 50 Years of Community — And We’re Proud to Be Part of It

One of the things I’m most proud of has nothing to do with real estate — it’s our ongoing commitment to SABR Soccer, a recreational soccer organization that has been a true bedrock of the Boca Raton community for nearly 50 years.

This year, our brokerage is proudly renewing our long-standing sponsorship — and we don’t just write a check and walk away. We show up. I personally volunteer as a coach and as a supporting division representative, because this community deserves more than just financial support.

And this season had a special highlight — my daughter Amaya and I got to celebrate our team’s regular season 1st place finish together! 🏆 If you look closely, you’ll spot her wearing our team uniforms in our signature purple with the Scanlon Realty Group logo. Moments like that are why we do this.

Want to learn more about SABR Soccer or get your family involved? Visit us at scanlonrealtygroup.com and feel free to reach out — I’m happy to connect you!

🏘️ Section 4: What’s Happening Right Here in Our Neighborhood

Why Boca Square Has Become One of South Florida’s Most Sought-After Redevelopment Areas

I want to share something important — and it’s hyper-local, so this isn’t a broad South Florida story. This is about our neighborhood.

Over the past several years — and especially recently — Boca Square has been transforming at a remarkable pace. Homes that families have enjoyed for decades are being purchased, demolished, and replaced with large, modern new construction. Whether you see that as exciting or concerning, one thing is undeniable: Boca Square has become one of the most sought-after redevelopment neighborhoods in all of South Florida.

If you’ve been receiving unsolicited calls, texts, letters, or door knocks from investors and developers — you’re not alone. And my advice is simple: before you make any decisions, make sure you truly understand the value of what you own. Lot size, orientation, redevelopment potential, school zoning, and buyer demand can all dramatically impact what a knowledgeable buyer may be willing to pay — well beyond what an investor’s first offer reflects.

For buyers, our approach is just as intentional. We specialize in this micro-market so deeply that we don’t just show you what you’re buying today — we walk you through what your surrounding neighborhood is likely to look like 5 and 10 years from now. That kind of forward-looking insight is what separates a good decision from a great one.

Whether you’re thinking about selling, buying, or just want to understand where you stand, I’d be honored to prepare a confidential, no-obligation market analysis for your home.

As your neighbor of 15 years, I’m always here as a trusted local resource first — and a real estate broker second.

📩 Reach out anytime — I’d love to connect.
